"Kevin Alone in New York": Actor suffered severe burns while filming!
USA - Who would have thought that little Kevin McCallister and the "Wet Bandits" Harry and Marv would meet again in the largest US city? The reunion is the subject of the Christmas classic "Kevin Alone in New York". In an interview with People, Harry actor Joe Pesci (79) describes what he thinks of a new edition of the films about schoolboy Kevin.
In an email interview with the US magazine, Pesci describes how he was sure that "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" - the original title - would be a success.
The reason is that they stuck with the cast and crew of Home Alone, the actor said. "More spontaneity and creativity" was noticeable on the set of the slapstick comedy.
He found words of praise for the leading actor in the Christmas film, calling Macauly Culkin (42 today) "a really sweet kid" and "very professional even at his age".
However, he said he deliberately distanced himself from Culkin during filming in order to maintain the dynamic between the lovable kid Kevin and the villain Harry in the film.
